When Amber came to me to design this Album all she wanted was it for to be 'very bright, so it can stand out at Jazz Clubs.' Amber chose a bright red dress, and a teal wall in Bywater we had found on another photoshoot months before.

Art Nouveau and Art Deco were my main inspiration; aesthetics from time periods that many of the songs on the album were originally written and performed. I illustrated Sweet Potato vines to frame Amber to look like it was painted directly on the bright teal wall she wanted to feature. You can listen to Amber Rachelle & The Sweet Potatoes' album Too Sweet on Bandcamp here. You can also find Amber and her Sweet Potatoes playing on Frenchmen street in New Orleans where you can buy their album and tip the band in person.

Lou did a great job designing the artwork my last album Too Sweet. Lou really listened and understood my vision for the artwork. The art looked amazing and was exactly what I envisioned. When asked to tweak things they were quick, professional, and efficient. I look forward to working with Lou again in the future.
